The foundations of SBS are built on careers spanning decades at the highest levels of the finance industry, complemented by hands-on experience as public administrators and corporate leaders. SBS team of 17 professionals collectively bring to the firm over 200 years of experience serving hundreds of clients throughout the United States and the world. Lois Scott, President and co-founder, leads our public sector practice. A former White House Fellow, Lois launched and managed the Midwest Public Finance operations for several leading investment banks, providing financial advice on projects totaling $35 billion. Dean Balice, Senior Managing Director and co-founder, leads our private sector practice. His work draws upon over 25 years in corporate finance, leading American operations for one of the world’s leading financial services companies, with a particular focus on complex credit structures and privately held companies.
